Kenya now top Africa’s Safari destination

World Travel Awards continues to rank Kenya as top wildlife tourism destination. This is now the seventh time in a raw that Kenya is recognized.

This announcement came on Thursday during the WTA grand final winners’day where Kenya emerged top beating Botswana, Tanzania, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Zambia.

Kenya airways, Kenya’s National airline was also name best airline in Africa with business class while Ethiopian airlines emerged top in the leading brand and economy class category.

Despite the tourism sector being hard hit by the pandemic, Kenya Ministry of tourism launched virtual tourism where Kenya wildlife could be views online. This was showcased worldwide.

Kenya also partnered with video sharing platform TikTok to showcase the great wildebeest migration at the Maasai Mara game reserve.
