Jalang’o Distances himself from ‘Wash Wash’ allegations against him

Jalang’o has come out to refute claims that he is involved in money laundry and conning.

The celebrated Radio Presenter and a known entrepreneur was speaking during the every-day morning radio program on Kiss 100 with Kamene Goro.

He said he has been working very hard for the last 10 to 15 years always waking up at 4.00 am I the morning.

“For the past 10 to 15 years I’ve never seen what 7 o’clock looks like unless I’m on holiday or it’s the weekend when I’m not working because I’ve always just known 4am as my wake up time and we come to Kiss and they pay us so well,” he said.

Jalang’o owns a Media Company – Arena Media, which does advertising marketing.

He has come along away building his name in the comedy industry in the country dating almost 20years. He says he is currently a brand ambassador for many top brands in the country, ranging from consumer goods, construction, finance and clothing.

“As we speak today, I think I’m a brand ambassador to almost five top brands…a brand ambassador not influencer…for influencing I have a thousand and one… I’ll tell you easily there’s a time I drive in this town and I see a billboard literally every single place, those things pay,” He pointed out.

In August 2020, Business Today reported that Jalang’o could be earning close to Ksh 5 Million a month across his social media platforms.

With his YouTube account having 400,00 subscribers and Instagram with over 2 million followers, he was last year ranked the biggest digital influencer in Kenya, making him the most popular media personality according to a  report authored by research firm Geopoll Online Influencers’ Influence In Kenya And Nigeria.

The comedian-come radio Presenter is said to own a number of luxuries properties in Nairobi including rental apartments, a mansion and several Air BnB apartments.

His car collections include Land Rover Discovery, Toyota V8, Range Rover Velar, Mercedes convertible and a Mercedes V-Class .
