Christian Longomba, one of Longomba brothers in dead.
Christian died on Saturday March 13 in Los Angeles Hospital in USA.
The late Christian who completed Longomba band had been diagnosed with brain tumor back in 2015 and went through two surgeries since then and six weeks of radiation therapy to completely remove the tumor.
He was still undergoing treatment for recurring brain tumor but succumbed to complications.
“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I love you Christian, my brother, my friend and partner, but Jesus loves you more. Enjoy heaven,” His brother Lovy wrote on his Facebook page.
Some of Christian and Lovy Longombas’ chart-topping songs included: ‘Vuta Pumz’, ‘Dondosa’, ‘Piga Makofi’, ‘Queen’, ‘Usinihande’, ‘Shika More’, ‘Chukua’, among others.
A number of Kenyan artists took on tutor to send their messages of condolences.
